Matthew Horne is an experienced leader with skills in strategy and business planning, communications, transformation, and working with Boards and Partnerships.
Before joining the Trust, he was Joint Chief Exec at Innovation Unit, where his work focused on enabling innovation in education & early years, family help and child protection.
Matthew is a social scientist and former policy maker. He previously worked on public service reform in the Cabinet Office and Department for Education.
Matthew is a Trustee at Joseph Rowntree Foundation. He is also an experienced Academy Trustee, School Governor, and volunteer working with children. He lives in Yorkshire and is an Associate of the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission.
