Nigel has more than 35 years’ experience in local government leadership roles in the UK, most recently as Director of Children’s Services at Leeds City Council, where he helped develop the idea of Leeds as a ‘Child Friendly City’. He now works as a consultant and a Department for Education Commissioner and Improvement Adviser, helping organisations to develop effective approaches to child welfare issues.
