BCFT wins award for our progress as an Inclusive Employer

We are delighted to share that we have won the Inclusive Employer Progress Award 2026!

This award recognises the significant progress we have made in embedding Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB) since our inception in 2023. It reflects the collective commitment, passion and hard work of all colleagues across the Trust in making inclusion a core part of who we are.

BCFT Progress Award from Inclusive Employers positioned on a table in a board room environment.

We were honoured to be shortlisted alongside The Electoral Commission, Greater London Authority and Haier, making this achievement even more special.

Angela Dyer and Charlotte Nassem were proud to collect the award in London on behalf of all our colleagues.

This recognition would not have been possible without the dedication, passion and commitment of everyone who has contributed to our inclusion journey so far. We’re incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, as we continue this work further we remain committed to making the Trust a place where everyone feels heard, valued, respected and able to thrive.

Our Chief Executive, Charlotte Ramsden, said:

“We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved so far. We have made inclusion one of our core values, invested in our staff networks, co-produced our EDIB Strategy, created our Total Inclusion Board, and are working towards becoming a positive menopause workplace. We have made great strides, but our journey does not stop here.””

Charlotte Ramsden, Chief Executive, Bradford Children and Families Trust

A huge thanks to Buzzacott for hosting such a brilliant awards ceremony, and to Inclusive Employers for recognising our progress and for championing inclusion across workplaces.
