Whether you’ve been sitting exams yourself or supporting someone who has, Results Day is here.
It can be a difficult time filled with feelings of worry, stress and of course relief! Whatever the end results are, the culmination of months of hard work can take time to process.
Just know that completing exams is a massive achievement that takes lots of effort, so whatever the outcome, there are always options and there is always support.
We have compiled some options of support for young people in Bradford as they navigate how they feel and what their next steps might be.

Support your teenager’s wellbeing through exam season

Whatever the outcome, worrying about grades or the next steps can cause anxiety and stress.
Parents and carers can access free courses, to help you understand the emotions your young person is going through.
These courses include:
- Understanding your teenager’s brain
- Understanding the impact of the pandemic on your teenager (long-lasting effects may still be impacting them)
The courses, from In Our Place, and created by NHS psychology experts, are completely free for everyone in the Bradford District, using the code BDPARENTS.
To access, visit for In Our Place Bradford, or the FYI website.

Best of luck to all the young people we support and care for on results day and beyond. You deserve to be proud of the effort you have put in and thank you to those who support our young people to attend and achieve in education, believing our children deserve to thrive no matter what the challenges are.
