Benefits at a glance

What are the benefits of fostering with Bradford Fostering?

Apart from working with young people, our current carers love our community spirit, great financial rewards and career development opportunities.

Competitive fees and allowances

At Foster for Bradford, we want you to feel supported. That’s why we provide financial support to all our foster carers for the amazing work they do.

Annual leave

As a foster carer, you’ll give a vulnerable child a caring, safe and stable home for as long as they need it. We also acknowledge that you in turn may need some personal time too.

24/7 professional support

Right from the start, you will be assigned your own dedicated social worker, and have access to a dedicated therapeutic social work team and access to the children’s social workers too.

Extensive training opportunities and rewards

Your training and development starts from the moment we accept your application. You’ll be supported through your initial training to help you become a foster carer, but the learning doesn’t stop there.

After your approval, we’ll continue to support you to learn new skills to help you in your role. As you progress as a foster carer, your weekly fees will also rise to recognise your experience and knowledge.

As a foster carer, you’re never alone. Our community of foster carers meet up regularly to make new friends and share useful tips and advice.

We also have a dedicated support platform just for LGBT+ carers.
