Many of the district’s fantastic fostering families and all their children got together to enjoy a picnic in Roberts Park for fun and games in the sun.
Fun for all was had at the Foster for Bradford Summer Picnic.
The event was organised by the Foster for Bradford team who laid on the event for foster families from across the Bradford district in Roberts Park, Saltaire on Monday (29 July).
Lots of families joined in the fun, which is just one of many social events organised throughout the year for foster families who are part of Foster for Bradford, Bradford Children & Families Trust’s fostering service.
Everyone had a fun relaxing afternoon in the sunshine, making friends and eating together.
The enrichment events offer an opportunity for foster families to meet up, spend some time and have fun together.
Linzi Nicholson, Foster for Bradford’s registered manager, said:
“We had a wonderful time in Roberts Park; it was lovely to see the children and foster carers having fun and spending quality time together.
“The picnic is just one of the many events we hold for our fostering community throughout the year. It’s an opportunity to bring everyone together – foster carers, children and staff – and have fun.”

Foster for Bradford is a non-profit organisation, that puts children first and at the heart of everything we do. It is wholly owned by the Bradford Children and Families Trust, which runs Children’s Social Care on behalf of Bradford Council.
